We come to you today with a request. There has been a plethora of negativity lately, floating in and out of the fandom as a whole. Quite frankly, it’s upsetting. There is a reason that every single one of us became part of this fandom. We want to remind everyone what that reason was.
We want to declare February 1st “Fandom Celebration Day.” Each member of our blog will be posting their reasons for joining the fandom and what we like about it in an attempt to shed a positive light on the fandom once more. We will be encouraging our readers to post comments in response to this, talking about their experiences and what they like as well.
We would like to ask you to join our efforts by posting a similar post on your blog the same day. We have enclosed a banner you may use if you choose to participate. We’ll be spreading the word as far as we can, and if you choose, we’d love for you to help us out. We want to promote a positive outlook.
